The APP is divided into different sections and subsections. Once you have chosen the section you want to explore, you can click on this and it will bring you to more detailed sections, e.g. if you click on internal considerations , you will then be directed to a page with 3 further sections to include, Physiological, Cognitive/Perception and Psychological. You can then click on the section you want to investigate eg Physiological , this will then direct you to physiological considerations such as Delirium. If you choose the the section entitled Cognition/perception a page with information on the non-cognitve symptoms of dementia will open . In keeping with this theme if you choose the Psychological section, this will bring you to different articles to include psychological wellbeing etc. You can also click the drop down menu on the top left hand corner of the home page to see heading lists.
References have purposely not been added to the body of text in this app. All information provided is in keeping with HSE National Guidelines, The Dementia Strategy and International best practices. A Bibliography section is available which includes references for information in this App .
